Women are much more conservative about their private live than men. "No one is exempt from media attacks, misrepresentation, and the shockingly popular appeal of prying into political candidates' sex lives and manufacturing scandals." Being in politics means any aspect of your life risks being exposed therefore pushing women away from careers in politics.
