Women are becoming more interested in politics but the involvement is still at a low 18%.According to the article,"In spite of significant progress made for women's rights, women are still confined to stereotypical gender roles, namely, bearing significant responsibility for childcare and household affairs." Women are not looked upon as powerful because of the mediocre tasks previously placed upon them.
